Tay River Trips

Tay River Trips and charters for the general public are available now. They depart from Broughty Ferry and Tayport. Click the button below to find out what's on offer!

  • Days and times depend on the tides

The trips are scheduled so as to ensure safe boarding at the embarkation points.

  • Arrive on time

Please make sure you arrive in plenty of time as the boats keep to a tight schedule.

  • Dress appropriately

Hint - Check the weather before leaving home.

  • Babies

Children aged 0-12 months are carried free of charge but, as 'babes in arms', must be held safely and appropriately by their parent or carer at all times.

  • Dogs

We are happy to carry well behaved dogs. One per party only and please keep them on a short lead. You are responsible for your pet's safety throughout the trip and you are strongly advised to fit them with a proprietary flotation device

  • Payment

Bookings are made through our user-friendly online facility and payment is by credit or debit card.

  • Finally, have fun and take plenty of pictures

The River Tay is beautiful, bring a camera and have your fingers crossed for clear skies.
