This page shows the second 7 week training course we’ve completed for the Scottish Prison Service. These are intensive courses encompassing seamanship, personal safety, boathandling, navigation and passage planning and culminating in a day voyage or practical boathandling exercise with the trainees being assessed on how much they’ve learned. Hard work, a lot to learn in a short space of time, but still enjoyable.
