One of our passenger trips aboard Marigot

Taymara functions on several levels. We offer maritime experience and training for all members of our local community regardless of income. We run fundraising passenger carrying trips throughout the Tay Estuary from the North Sea to Perth including our popular sightseeing and dolphin watching trips which offer a great opportunity for all members of the community to see the river and its wildlife as it should be seen - from the water in a boat!

Increasingly, we are offering maritime training and involvement for folk who have kicked various habits and wish to move on from this. This latter work has evolved out of a successful pilot programme for recovering substance abusers carried out in 2008 and has grown apace since then. We now provide maritime training courses for clients from a variety of charities and government agencies. For more information click on “Courses”

Because of the wide range of activities necessary for running and maintaining our vessels, running our courses and administrating the charity throughout the year most folk who wish to be involved tend to find a niche for themselves very quickly.
